It’s time to say Goodbye….

It’s time to say Goodbye to paint.  This has been a super hard decision.  One that has taken us months to come to grips with.  We have let our retailer-ship with Fusion Mineral Paint go.  We are no longer carrying, selling or doing workshops for Fusion Mineral Paint.

We will continue to build custom furniture as time allows and we will still be taking on custom refinishing projects but we have chosen to let the retail side of our business go.  We will continue to use and promote the Fusion Mineral Paint products as I truly feel they are the best on the market.

We have loved working with Homestead House and all the amazing retailers that sell Fusion.  But, it is time for us to step into a new phase of our life and that is my pursuit of my dream from College.  That is to operate and run a Horticulture business.  We are well under way to starting Willow Lane Flower Farm.  If you’d like to know more about that please head to our new website Willow Lane Flower Farm.

What does that mean for you the customer?  It means that I have some great women to refer you to for all your Fusion Mineral Paint needs.  For a complete list of retailers please go to Fusion Mineral Paint to locate a retailer near you.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you for your support over the last 3 years. It has been an amazing ride.  I have learned so much while running Rustic Barnyard.  I will miss chatting paint with you.  I will miss seeing all your before and after photos.  I will miss hearing the excitement you have when you paint projects.  I would also like to say a huge thank you to Jennylyn Pringle of Homestead House for taking a chance on us and allowing us the opportunity to retail your amazing paint!

Future Flower Site

I’ve been walking in our hay field lately.  It’s nice to not worry about traffic on our road.  Though it would be easier walking on the road.  It’s an area of our property that has been out of sight out of mind since we’ve lived here.  We tend to forget about it since the only livestock we have is chickens and they are on the other side of the yard.  We rarely even look at the hay field.  A local farmer pays us for the hay and takes care of it.

Highlights from 2015

PicMonkey CollageIt’s the last week of 2015!  Wow, what a crazy year.  We’ve had some ups and downs and I wanted to share some highlights from the year.  I think  it’s easy to look back at the year and wonder what did we accomplish?  It’s good to take a few minutes and reflect on the year.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! As you read this I am enjoying Christmas with my family.  I love to give to my family and I love the presents, the food, the tree, and the snow (sometimes we have a brown Christmas).  I love seeing the anticipation in the kids faces and the excitement as they unwrap each gift.  Among all this hustle and fun we are also taking this time to remember that Jesus came to earth as a little baby.  The ultimate gift!  As you give presents to each other and share your love with your family and friends, know that Jesus Christ came as a gift for you as well.

Merry Christmas!!
